Our Policy on the Use of AI in Submissions
The Groke’s position on material produced using Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The editors will not knowingly use AI artworks for magazine covers or illustrations.
We will continue to support human artists and designers, ONLY.
The editors will not knowingly accept and publish AI generated or assisted poems, stories, or essays.
We reserve the right to reject any submission that we suspect to be primarily generated or created by AI software.
As part of the submission process all submitters will be required to confirm that AI has not been used to create the work.
If you are looking for a place that views anything generated by AI as artwork, we are not the place for you. Art is how humans communicate with one another. It is invaluable. True artists understand that it is not always the piece we are left with that matters, but the journey of creation. We will continue to advocate for artists everywhere.
